“Little walks around the neighbourhood: Socialising spaces for neighbours” (in english) explores how the current urban planning model in Madrid’s peripheral neighbourhoods leaves less and less space for public and communal places for socialising, as they tend to be privatised.

Through a series of paintings, collages, sketches, digital illustrations and reflections from a research carried out in San Blas neighbourhood, Madrid, this publication denounces how these urban planning decisions are partially responsible for the weakening of the care and support network between neighbours, as well as the loss of local culture caused by the destruction of historical building and spaces.
